The interview today at NTU Sch on Comm. and Information was pretty alright I guess. Interview was ok, I say, 10 times better than the SMU one which I attended which was quite a screw-up for me ( at least thats what I felt). Just that today's written test asked qs like which countries did George Bush visit in early March, current affairs, general knowledge and stuff like that. I didn't noe all the answers cos I haven't had time to read every single article in the newspapers since I'm so busy and tired working. But it wasn't all that bad la, the test was still pretty much do-able I guess. I'm not too sure when I'll know the outcome of today's test-cum-interview though. I do have an interest in Mass Com and such, but NTU is just too far for me. Travelling to school would be such a chore. I guess that would be the main reason should I not choose NTU. Aiyah, haha wait till they get back to me first then decide. If not, then I'll just go to NUS Science.

But I guess I'll most likely choose NUS Science la. So much nearer. haha.

The buffet lunch at NTU today was good. They had lotsa good food. Sambal prawns, sweet and sour fish, buffalo wings, chicken rendang, fried rice, fried behoon, spring rolls, mushroom w veg, tofu with veg, guava juice and grass jelly. Ah, paradise. I didnt eat alot though, since we most of the time touring the sch. haha.

Oh yeah there was this little kitten, a very tiny one, abt the length of a 15cm ruler or smaller, stuck in my Dad's car engine a fw days back. We couldn't see it at first when we lifted the bonnet, but when we started the engine, we cold hear the kitten's inccessant meow-ing. My Dad was so afraid that the cat would be crushed should he start the car, so my poor mum had to go to work on her own. haha. It took us quite a while to get this little furball out, and ah, it was really cute.

Tuesday blues. Its gonna be back to work tmr. Ah! sigh.

At least I rested alot at home today though. Breakfast, sudoku, lunch, sudoku, 3-hr nap, dinner, sudoku.

Its been ages since I slacked at home, doing nth. And it certainly feels good.

Great lunch this afternoon with Mummy, sis and Donald at Wisma Din Tai Fung. HAHA. Not that I'm not tired of Wisma since I am there almost every other day, just that we thought that the Din Tai Fung at Paragon would be more crowded.

Anyway back to THE GREAT lunch, it was really good I must say, at least to me. I ate so much, I ate like a monster. I had my minced meat sauce with mushroom noodle as my main course, and had half a plate of fried rice, sweet and sour soup, braised Sichuan sliced beef, some cabbage dish, shrip and minced meat shao mai, as well as the xiao long bao. haha. luckily they forgot abt the braised beef soup we ordered, cos we wouldn't be able to finish it!

But, it was satisfying. Ah.

Grocery shopping with Mummy after that well sis and Donald headed to coffee club RH (my ex workplace haha) to study. After grocery shopping my mum went home while I went to Suntect, Marina and City Link to shop for my stuff. Had a tough time finding what I wanted. Managed to get it in the end, though it wasn't exactly what I wanted. But I guess it'd do just find. I'm so tired of searching high and low for it already. so heck la. heh. I just hope it isn't a impulsive buy.

Oh wells. Must rest tmr, not gonna go out already. Must rest till my heart's content. Going back to work on Mon. SIGH!

Off day today was good. Woke up damn early for driving, though. Met Eileen after that for lunch at JP (haven't been there for a hundred yrs). and then off to her place for some tanning.

The sun was ok, though there was this on-off drizzle. And no, I didn't manage to get visibly tanner. OH WELLS. After tanning and frolicking in the pool, went back up and had our waffle a la Gelare style. heh heh. It was wonderful, or may I say, heavenly, esp since I was so hungry.

Then again, I realised that I'm hungry like most of the time ( if not half the time) whenever I'm awake, even after my meals, I get hungry within an hr or so. WHATS WRONG WITH MY METABOLISM?????!!!!!!. Maybe I should just sleep my next 3 off days away. I always feel so guilty after eating so much, but yet I lack discipline to control myself. oh, SIGH.


Yay no work tmr. I haven't had a free Sat for almost 2 mths now! Din Tai Feng tmr with Mummy and maybe sis and Donald. Some retail therapy would be good too.

SMU interview tmr. I'm actually pretty worried. ha.

Anyway ust had my hair coloured on Sun. Deep red streaks, and another tone of brown on the inside and ends. Not too happy with it though. The red streaks are alright, but the brown is rather dark its not very visible. I would have wanted a brighter brown, abit goldenish.warm blondish kind actually. The sample she showed was quite bright ( cos of the pitching I think), so I thought the red-on-the-outside-and-bright-brown/almost golden-on-the-inside effect would be achieved. In the end, sigh, its so sad, the brown is SO DARK.

OKAY. I'm sorry. I sound SO BIMBOTIC. END OF TOPIC PLEASE!

On a brighter note, I've something to pass my time now. Not as if I'm damn free anyway. haha I've been working like a mad horse. Oh yeah, shan't digress, I'm addicted to Sudoku. haha. I bought the Sudoku puzzle book to do la. heh. And Eileen just told me that I can actually download those puzzles. Hmm I hope I become smarter after finishing the book. HAHA!

I can't wait for my long (okay, actually not-so-long) break of 4 days. Fri Sat Sun and Mon, though Mon I'll have to go to the office in the morning for a briefing. Cos Surfbabe's closing for renovation. I just hope I dun have to go over to cover duty at flash and splash though. haha.I want my 4 days break!

Worked at Flash n Splash today cos they were short-handed. It was quite ok I must say, wasn't that boring. Saw quite a few familiar faces as well. And oh yea, Porky came again to visit and woohoo, he brought cakes again. HOHOHO!. Food really does make me happy. I'm not kidding!

Work was okay. Throat still hurts though. SIGH.
Anyway Deborah came today. Said Hi and stuff. haha. Its funny how pple used to get us mixed up during the first 3 mths in JC. Many pple said we are carbon copies of each other (ie Porky), twins (ie, Porky), blah blah blah. haha.

Yups and got a visit from Porky too. He was quite sweet, he bought cakes. HAHA! YAY. I ALWAYS love food!. (hint: the next time any of u visit me, pls buy food! thx! cos I'm like hungry most of the time)

Bumped into Theodore at Dhoby Ghaut station on my way home. Yea, small world. heh.

EH I HAVEN'T WATCHED MY ICE AGE YET LA. The whole world has watched it except me, I think I'm destined to catch it alone. HOW SAD!

My throat hurts real badly. I lost my voice and am coughing as well. How sad is that. I actually CROAK now. SIGH.
It doesn't help that Jeremy kept laughing at me. and Andy as well. kept imitating my voice.

I have very nice colleagues too, who deliberately had ice-cream in front of me. Esp ZL who had my favourite choc mint ice-cream.
SIGH. So all of them had ice-cream today but me. I wanted to, but they didn't allow. Anyway, a little bit of ice-cream won't harm.

Supper last night after work at Lau Pa Sat yet again, but with the colleagues this time. Surfbabe plus flash and splash. The food was good, esp so after a lunch of just bread, a pear, an apple and a banana.

It was Shiya's treat btw. HA.=)
We had sting ray, honey bbq-ed chicken, satay, sambal kangkong, oyster kailan, lala, fried oyster. Pure bliss. heh.

So we basically ate alot, and laughed alot as well. Just that poor Xueyi was pretty stoned cos she was too shagged since we all had to attend a staff seminar regarding Ripcurl at 9 that morning.

Oh yea, its my off day today. Time to catch up on my sleep!=))

It was not guilt-free, but I enjoyed supper on Sat night at lau pa sat. haha. Food was good (esp after a whole day of work, I was so starved). We ordered carrot cake, bee hoon goreng, satay, and a large sting ray, as well as fruit juices. yummylicious, totally. but sigh, it was close to midnight when we ate all these. SINFUL!

Anyway I was supposed to treat Donald and my sis, but Donald paid for some of the food too. So it wasn't exactly a full treat. But nonetheless, it was all good.=)

Phuture last night was good. Had wanted to watch the FCUK event over at Zouk but it was so freaking crowded we stayed at Phuture. Music was great, so was the company.

There was a cute bung. haha ok, thats not the point.

Anyway, I got scolded by an ang moh customer yesterday for nth. It wasn't even my fault. wth pls. She's pure bitch. Lazy to type out everything, if u wanna just ask me, I'll be more than willing to tell u everything. I mean, rant out everything. haha.

I loveeee my off-day. Marche lunch with Vic and Ally was great. =) Ally was late by an hr though! She's like much worse than Vic! Anyway, Vic and I ate started lunch first while waiting for Ally, and after she came, we ordered again. We totally ate like monsters. haha! oh wells.
And Ally felt so proud burning off 70 calories in the gym this morning. I couldn't stop telling her that that's like just a slice of wholemeal bread! teeheehee.

It felt really good talking with the girls, cos we so share the same frequency! Life'd be pretty boring without them. (esp the gossiping.)

Its really quite unbelievable that Ally and I used to be enemies back in Pri sch. Actually it was my best friend in Pri sch ( whom I've since lost contact with) who was enemies Ally and this other girl, so she told me to PRETEND to be good friends with them to help her spy on them! haha, ahhhh, so primary school aye!?

And yes, I disliked Ally back in Kellock. HA!. But now, I'm quite thankful to have a friend in her! =)). Good bitching partner, shopping partner, blah blah blah.


Anyway after lunch, we walked around, and shopped. Went home for dinner after that, since I've not had dinner at home for like a million years!

Off day was fab-fantastic! Shopping with my mum and sis. hohoho. Came home, slept like a baby, and off for a seafood dinner at East Coast to celebrate Daddy's birthday. Mum's treat. ha!. The dinner was good, seriously. My sis and I bought a Quicksilver bag for Daddy (er yeah, using the 50% coupon. but STILL...!). We're good daughters la. haha!

Its back to work tmr. My next off day is on Wed, so yeah. Its only 2 working days before my next off day. YAY. Meeting up with Ally! ;)

Anyway, it was supposed to be a tanning outing with Ally and Vic, but Vic has sth on last min(like hey, whats new yea?haha), and Ally's having her time of the mth, so yea, no more tanning. bleah.

woohoo. after what seems like an eternity, my off day's finally here again. hohoho. yay-ness please! =))

work today was pretty ok. Ben treated us to pizza. so it was good! ;)).

ok, nth much, except that ITS OFF DAY TMR! heh.

oh yeah, I cut my fringe. ok la, not alot. but still, I cut it. quite brave of me. I want to do bangs so much, but I think it'll screw up. so, better not take the risk.

The banana cake at Subway (not the Sandwich chain, this Subway's next to C-Jade Express at Wisma B1) is darn good. I buy it like almost everyday. Love it to bits. Sigh I eat so much working there. SIGH. And cos my meal hrs are not very regular working there, I am ALWAYS hungry after work and I ALWAYS eat sth after work. No big deal yeah, but hey, its at night. We all know eating at 10/11-ish is nv good.


I shall thus make a resolution not to eat, at least not so much/not so often, after work. heh.

Anyway thats not the point. The point I wanna make is, the banana cake seriously rocks my socks. hohoho.


Met Shiya this morn for breakfast at BK before heading to Pac Plaza to use the 50% coupons. I used Ben's coupons actually, haha cos I've used up mine long ago. And since Ben has nth to get himself, he gave my two of us coupons. so, YAY. Yup, and Pet joined us later at Pac. Gave her one of Ben's coupons to use. She got herself a skirt while I got myself a top (though its not that one I wanted and set out to buy in the first place. boohoo). Still, its pretty alright I guess. Poor Shiya couldn't use her coupons cos the stuff she wanted isn't available at the outlet there. At least, not yet. haha.

I seriously seriously think I've been spending too much. I reserved a shorts at Ripcurl also. But I think I'll get my pay first then decide if I wanna get it. For now, just reserve first. haha. I really like it, its nice (but a lil too short! argh! not too sure if its allowed in campus.) and though its not that expensive, I feel that I should like stop spending for while till I get my er, paycheck. haha.
My mum thinks its dangerous cos I spend without even seeing my money yet, and I agree la. I dun want this to become a habit. Its bad. really.


Oh yeah and Amanda and Angie came to visit (and shop also la) today!. As usual, Amanda, being as blur as ever, left her wallet at Surfbabe. I didn't realise till Zeela was like " eh, who's wallet ah? issit ur friend's? ".

I opened it and saw the ez-link card. Lo and behold, it was Amanda's!

But seriously, I wasn't the LEAST SURPRISED. Its just so Amanda to leave her things around. haha.

I IMMEDIATELY called her cos I guessed she'd be very worried by then. But u noe what ?

I just realised this morn that my advanced theory test is tmr morning. And I happily thought its on Tues, thinking I'd have some time to study for it on Mon morning. ha. I haven't exactly studied for it, and though I ought to be doing so now, I'm blogging online now. EEYER.

Today I ended work like on the dot at 7.30, first time doing morning shift without OT. Wanted to go out but I decided that I should go home early and attempt to read my advanced theory handbook, and not let my $8 (I think) test fee go to waste. haha.
Anyway I came home and read the papers, so I didn't really study la. OH WELLS.

Work on Fri was good cos I had Vic and Ally coming. They each bought a voodoo doll bikini (70% off leh). And I had an unexpected visit from Geoffery. He's a real sweetie I tell ya. He bought me this prettaye lil keychain from LA, with my name on it. Appreciate it lots. I mean, its like, I won't even have expected him to get me anything. So, its really lovely of him. =).

After work yest was dinner with Weijia at Harry's Bar@ Esplanade. The live band there was good. I had wanted to order a myself a magarita, but decided that I should go on a budget. I've been spending way too much lately. So in the end I didn't order any drinks following my meal of a grilled cajun chicken (which was really not bad, esp the cheeddar cheese that came with it), while Weijia had a heinekin (sry I can't spell HAHA!), which I felt was a rip off la. But well, I guess pubs at the Esplanade are rip-offs to start with anyway. After all, his money. not mine. HEH.

I'm looking forward to my next off day leh. HAHA.

Its all abt work work work and more work. I'm pretty screwed I haven't read through my advanced theory yet and the test is oh-so-near. OH WELLS. No time. haha. Haven't been reading the papers, and my magazines!

Off day yest was great. The four of us (aww, finally after a long time) celebrated Eileen's bday yest. Lunch at Paragon Din Tai Feng was pretty alright. Small portions though. ha!.

Walked ard town in a attempt to look for nice stuffs thereafter.

I always feel so tired from work. haha. Anyway I'm so looking forward to my next off day, since its an OFF day, and of cos, its gonna be a day out, with the girls. hohoho. yay.
And its like I've been spending so much when I haven't even gotten my pay check yet. sucks pls.
Not forgetting money spent on lunch everyday. Eating out is not healthy and a waste of money.
Which reminds me, the cai peng stall at Food Republic is such a rip off. bloody hell. They charged me $6 for rice with 2 veg 1 meat and a stingray. I was like stunned. WTH. With $6 I could have eaten something nicer la, definitely not cai peng. Somehow, I miss SA's Malay stall AGAIN. HEH.

And its so strange, but I actually can't wait for sch to start. I mean, its gonna be a whole new experience, and the prospect of it all just seems so exciting. I'm pretty looking forward. =)
