I use way too much tissue paper a day I feel so ashamed of myself, esp so at a time where we NEED to reduce our carbon footprint and sustain our greens. Its scary thinking that our world rice supply will plummet by a good 20-40% by 2050, with an estimated $300 billion being needed in the long run to fight global warming.

I've been using recycled paper to print my lectures notes all these while, so I guess that kind of makes up for my excessive usage of tissue paper, no?

I've not been quite a green activist myself, but reading about some of the issues brought up at the UN Climate Change Conference made me feel that we've all underestimated the severity of the damage we've brought upon the Earth----all in the name of development and industrialization. Or rather, many of us, including myself, don't even bother simply because we're not directly affected by the global warming(or at least not yet). We complain that the weather's getting hotter by the day, but do nothing about it because life still goes on as usual isnt it?

The impact of our carbon footprints is just all too great, yet we've been blinded (by choice) to it. Lets all change to build a better planet for a better future and a more sustainable way of life!

I just came home from town and my Mum got me a new wallet!!!!!!!! I was just asking her this morning if she knew where my Sis kept her old wallet cos I needed it since I had to send my current wallet for maintenance, and she said that she'll get me a new wallet instead, and give my Sis my current wallet once its repaired!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine my shock!!!! I was totally O_O. I told her that it isn't necessary cos my current wallet's pretty new still, but I think my Mum loves me alot she insisted on buying, so I'm not complaining!=) My Mummy's so nice, not just in the material sense (not that I advocate materialism, but she just wants the best for me), but in the emotional/all other aspects as well. I really thank God for giving me such wonderful parents!

So here's my new babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! =)) And some picas from dinner with BT yest!
