YAY. It turned out I didnt stone at home this afternoon! Met up with Elaine and Kelly and I bought a really silly pair of green ching chong shoes HAHAHAHAH. It isnt too bad la, its rather quirky actually, and its FUSS-FREE! Which means I can wear it to work. Then again, I specially bought it for work. Can't risk my trusted shoes getting stained or whatever since I think I'm a pretty careless person.
Really, I think, the ching chong green shoes isn't too ugly la. hahahah
Then it was dinner at Newton with Tecko, his gf, Jimmy and Shu. OMGGGGG. I felt so out of place like some silly light bulb hahahhhh. And I got cheated by the fishball noodle auntie her noodles are like over priced (yah I noe, tts Newton for u mannnnn!) and she charged me for extra ingredients which I didnt ask to be added, so she just added them without me knowing and charged me for it. WTH. and touting really sucks la it stresses me out big time. It makes me feel damn pressurized man I dont know why.
After the unsatisfying dinner I went over to my mum's office and bummed ard.
I AM JUST TOO FREE.
Wait till I start work. hahah.

Just when I've mentally prepared myself to go for tuition today (sigh tuition is so bleah), anqi postponed the lesson at the very last minute. So now, I'm left doing nothing at home.
Quoting Elaine yesterday, " eh what do u all do at home ah? I seriously have nothing to do AT ALL". Ah wells, sth along the line. And yes, I dont know as well. Its so boring cos when I wanna go out, my friends all gotta work and when they wanna meet up, I've tuition.
Tell me whats there to do. (besides drooling at wentworth miller!)
So boring, I'm gg back to drool at him.

Stole this from kh hahah.
Fond memories for those who born in the 70s and 80s.
-You grew up watching He-man, MASK, Transformers, Silver Hawk andMickey Mouse. Not to forget, Ninja turtles, MyLittle Pony and Smurfs too.
-You grew up brushing your teeth with a mugin Primary school during recess time. You will squat by a drain with all your classmates beside you, and brush your teeth with a coloured mug.
The teachers said you must brush each side 10 times too.
-You pay 40 cents for Chocolate or Strawberry MILK every week in class
-SBS buses used to be non-airconditioned. The bus seats are made of wood and the cushion is red. The big red bell gives a loud BEEP! when pressed. There are colourful tickets forTIBS buses. The conductor will check for tickets by using a machine which punches a hole in the ticket
-Envelopes given to us to donate to Sharity Elephant everyChildren's Day.
-You've probably read Young Generation magazine. You know who'sVinny the little vampire and Acai the constable.
-Gals are fascinated by Strawberry ShortCake and Barbie Dolls.13. You learn to laugh like The Count in Sesame Street.
-Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Three Investigators, Famous Five and Secret Seven are probably the thickest story books you ever thought you have read. Even Sweet Valley High and Malory Towers.
-You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable.
-The most vulgar thing you said was asshole and idiot and THE MOST EXTREME WAS 'super white'... you just couldn't bring yourself to say the hokkien relative.
-Catching was the IN thing and twist as the magic word.
-Your English workbooks was made of some damn poor quality paper that was smooth and yellow
Waterbottles were slinged around your neckand a must everywhere you go.
-Boys loved to play soccer with small plasticballs in the basketball court.
-Teng-teng, five stones, chapteh, hentambola and zero point were all the rage with the girls and boys too...
-Science was fun with the balsam and the angsana being the mostimportant plants of our lives, guppies and swordtail being the most important fish.
-Who can forget Ahmad, Bala, Sumei and John, eternalized in our minds from the textbooks. Even Mr Wally & Mr.Yakki. What abt Miss Lala??? And Zaki and Tini in Malay Textbooks
-We carry out experiments of our own to get yourself badges forbeing a Young Zoologist/Botanist/Chemist/Physict/Meteorologist etc.
-Every Children's day and National dayyou either get pins or pens with 'Happy Children's Day 1993' or dumbfiles with 'Happy National Day 1994'.
-In Primary six you had to play buddy for the younger kids like big sister and brother.
-Your form teacher taught you Maths, Science and English.
-The worksheets were made of brown rough paper of poor quality.
-School dismissal time was normally around 1 pm.
-There would be spelling tests and mental sums to do almost everyday.
-You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height and hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl
-Collecting and battling erasers was a pastime for boys.
-Autograph books were loaded with "BestWishes", "Forget Me Not", and smallpoems like "Bird fly high, hard to catch.Friend like you, hard to forget".
-Class monitors and prefects loved to say "You talk somemore, I write your name ah!"
-There were at least 40 people in one class.
-Large, colourful schoolbags were carried.

And I'm done with the exams. Time to read all thats accumulated over the past weeks. =)
Interview yesterday was disastrous. It was traumatising cos the interviewers kept shooting me with qs even before I was done with what I had to say. They rebutted and could find fault with almost everything I said as well. It was nerve-wrecking, totally.
Oh one of them was like " u dont have to be a dentist to work with patients. By doing Biology in Life Science u get to work with animals too and they are your patients."
And they suggested I be a nurse!
I thought that was quite strange though.
It was quite screwed up so I'm likely to not make it past the interview. Like what sweets said, whatever will be, will be, and we'll leave it all in Gods's hands. He decides where he wants us to be.
But it was an experience tho hahahah. So yeah, back to the embrace of LSM I guess.

Hello to all you who are gg to mambo or wherever tonight, u're so not gonna have fun cos its gonna be so so so packed and like Elaine said, 'not even able to bend your knees'.
OKAY. Yes I am jealous cos the entire NTU and half, no, 3 quarts of the NUS population has already ended their examinations.
The library has become significantly emptier, quieter and colder. You can even count with your fingers the number of students left in there. Poor miserable students like us, who have to battle the urge to join in the fun with the rest of the student population. Its hard to even keep ur eyes on the stack of notes waiting to be read.
Anw, I'm not that mean. haha. so yes, to all who have ended their examinations, go have your well-deserved fun. Even if it means not being able to bend your knees move and inch on the dance floor. It'd still be v much enjoyable anyway, cos no more exams no more notes no more mugging for all of you! =)
And PETRINA! did u have to tell the whole world that? hahaha its so embarrassing. But yes, the yong tau foo anutie should just give me loyalty points or membership card or something. Since I still eat from her stall so very often. Quite cool, 20cents off for every piece of yong tau foo I pick. hahahh.
Okay Friday will come soon, wont it? And I hope tmr goes fine, I dont wanna screw up like how I did last Thursday.
