Back from dinner at Uncle Johnny's, and it was a very nice affair with very good food. There was this eurasian curry feng that I particularly liked, but sinful with the blobs of fats in there. Also, we had quite a few unique eurasian food and deserts, pies and ice-cream. No pictures cos I was too lazy. heh. Actually I've been feeling full since the reunion dinner. haha. So this CNY was just eating without really appreciating the food. Which is such a shame! Food aside, I really enjoy spending time with the extended family, I adore the kidsss so much, but its such a pity we dont get to meet up often except during special occassions, cos everyone's just so preoccupied with their crazy hectic lifestyles. =(
And yesterday was my first time to this revolving restaurant near HarbourFront. It revolved so slowly that by the end of dinner, we only managed ONE revolution. The restaurant felt somehow like Hongkong cos it had this v v Chinese feel to it. Scenary was pretty too, cos it kinda overlooked the keppel and sentosa as well =)
With maternal grandma and Pamela the cousin
Broccoli with mushrooms and some bamboo pith thingy
Deep-fred fish that was seriously drool-worthy, my personal fav.
Spice fried chicken, tasted kinda ordinary for the exorbitant price
Fai cai with clams and trotters
Asparagus, once of the best greens that could have ever existed, with prawn balls/fritters/whatever
Sea-coconut with fungus and I think atap chee
